Paper Takes Flight
Grades 5–8
Paper Takes Flight is a hands-on workshop for students in grades 5 through 8.
Students work in teams to construct and fly 5-foot tissue paper balloons.
By building these balloons they learn how balloons fly, and about the science, history and sport of lighter-than-air flight.

Our small-scale model balloons are accurate examples of full-sized, manned hot air balloons and operate on the same principles.
